Ha, Ampang yong tau foo is quite a famous food there but personally...i don't find them special. Min took this picture ( a plate of fried 'wan tan' and 'fu chok') when I took Min and her coursemate, Joshua to have a taste of Yong Tau Foo for their first time.
Here is another plate of yong tau foo in soup. We have stuffed brinjals, chilies, ladies fingers, soft taufu, taufu pok and fishball (at far end-just visible). Guess what, we had second round of lunch on the same day because Joshua and I are big eater :> No...actually they don't serve rice on that day...so three of us not feeling full yet.
Here is the menu for our second round. I like tasty pan mee. The stall is located near the yong tau foo place. Min and Joshua do like the taste of this dried pan mee like I do.
Hurray pan mee!!Frankly i think Ampang should be known famous for pan mee and not yong tau foo. Agree?
